We took part in the inaugural ‘Fresh Radio Duck Race’ today. Several club members were on hand to man the club stand, and help with the races, by retrieving the ducks and rescuing the stragglers. We would like to thank The Fly Dressers Guild, who helped by giving continuous fly tying demonstrations, and the Friends of Greenfield, who kept several youngsters entertained with their Bat and Bird box building. Also Brian Smith, who isn’t a member, and doesn’t even fish any longer, but keeps turning up and helping at events such as this.
Over £3500 was raised for the Air Ambulance and McMillan Cancer Relief.
